Ok, so this is my second post for today and that is pretty unusual for me but I've come to realize that blogging is now my only way to remind myself constantly that English is what I want to do. You see yesterday my mom sat me down and had a talk with me. It was mostly the usual don't mix with bad company talk until she added this little warning. She told me that just because I'm now in poly and not going to do a humans based dip doesn't mean I should let my language slip up and start talking like a singaporean(Even though I am). And when I looked over my modules i realized that only one module on communication so this is my only way to err...keep my standard of english? Yeah, you get the point. And my mom also said that because the school is so far away I should leave as early as possible, stay there as long as possible and come home as late as possible. Thats like a total freedom card! She says now the only things I should be doing at home is resting and relaxing and if need be , homework. Do I have a great mom or what?!
So moving on, my mom has agreed to bring me on an all expense paid shopping spree for school. And on the shopping list are new jeans, shoes and LAPTOP! Yes I get a new laptop!! Whohoo!!!
Tomomrrow I've already made plans to go to tampines mall with Farzana and Farhana where we plan on watching either Juno or P.S. I Love You. Personally I'd rather see the later with my mom but I'm ok with anything. I'm not a Ceclia Aehern(sp?) fan 'cos I don't really like her writing style but I really really like the plot for this one. On the subject of books I'm looking forward to reading Julie Garwood's Shadow Music but the lib still hasn't received my reserved copy and its been over a week!! Argh!!
I guess thats it for my second post for today...pretty much covered everything in my first post. Just felt like adding this.
One last thing : Things are good.
Shall not elaborate 'cos it doesn;t concern anybody reading this.
Cheers!
