OK, so I have good and bad news. Well, good and bad for me but not you.
Lets see Good news first? The second book I reserved from the lib is now in my bag waiting to be read along with Jodi Picoult's newest book!!! I didn't even know she had a new book out until I saw it at Popular! It's called Change of Heart and on the cover there's this line that will make you go Wow. "Would you grant your enemy's dying wish to save your child?". Would you?
Now the bad news, the book that was reserved, now six weeks ago is still being pended. And I still don't know what that mean!! I was all set to go beat some sense into the librarians at the counter when I realized the ones that were there were newbies and would not have known why I still have yet get the reserved book. So I decided to go back on a day where one of the management librarians will be behind the counter so that I can get some answers and hopefully my book.
Anyways, I just came from Poonam's house where I managed to update my phone's playlist. Yay! Also I got to see her super super cute little sister so that was a plus as well.So I have plans to meet up with my close friends from my pri school tomorrow, hopefully it won't get cancelled. Fingers are crossed!
I'm not sure if I want to watch the Spiderwick Chronicles. The plot is interesting and it [the books that it] are said be the next Harry Potter. But honestly I'm not really in the mood to watch a fantasy movie, esp one about kids and animals. I do, and I think I've mentioned this before, want to watch Step Up 2 : The Streets badly, anyone wanna go???!!
Hmmm...did you know that according to a PhD certified IQ test I am an Insightful Linguist?
You are gifted with the natural fluency of a writer and the visual and spatial strengths of an artist. Those skills contribute to your creative and expressive mind.
Insightful linguists can take complex concepts and articulate them to just about anyone. You have a gift with words and insight into processes and the way people think. These talents enable you to explain things clearly to people.
This is totally agree with.
Because of the way you process information, these are just some of the many careers in which you could excel:
- Publicist
- Translator
- Graphic designer
- Teacher
- Broadcaster
- Public speaker
- Attorney
- Politician
The weird thing about this part is that I've actually all of those careers, well not graphic designer but the rest I have. Including attorney.
You scored in the 100th percentile on the linguistic intelligence scale.
This means that you scored higher than 90% - 100% of people who took the test and that 0% - 10% scored higher than you did. The scale above illustrates this visually.
Linguistic abilities include reading, writing and communicating with words. Tickle's test measures knowledge of vocabulary, ease in completing word analogies and the ability to think critically about a statement based on its semantic structure. Your score was relatively high, which could mean you know your way around a bookstore and maybe like to bandy about the occasional 25-cent word to impress friends.
Again so true!!!
And then I read this :
You have an uncanny ability to work your way out of sticky situations using your talent with words. Crossword puzzles, debates — you're particularly well equipped to come out on top since you can read people well.
And I'm like, have they met me?!! 'Cos the whole answer was so......accurate! Unbelievable!!
Anyways, done for today's update!
Cheers!
ps. 50th post!
