I would like to point out that the only reason that there is a second post today is 'cos I am freaking bored and I am filled with energy cuz I'm like super buzzed about tomorrow!!
Anyways, just now met up with Farhana and Barathy at SP. Roamed around This Fashion for a bit and I realized that all the stuff that I saw last year in Nov, then got taken away have now been put back up but but they are saying its new. Which is impossible 'cos more than one of the tops I saw my mom owns!! Like wth? Are they trying to cheat their customers????
After that we went to KFC to just hang around. Nisa met us there and there was a small incident involving chilli sauce and my cheese fries but thou shalt hold thy tongue if thou treasures thy life. If you didn't get that sorry, but once in a while I simply enjoy adding a little enjoy adding a little Shakespeare language.
On my way home I ran into Sonam and she came over to borrow some books. Seriously, I'm like a library to so many of my friends AND my mom! Its like they see some new book they like but can't buy, they ask me if I have it and usually I do! Maybe I should start charging them? Anyways, she borrowed Benedict and Colin of the Julia Quin Bridgerton Series and Julie Garwood's Shadow Dance which is absolutely fab!! I do have to admit I have the knack for finding many wonderful books from all sorts of genres!
I read fantasy, sci-fi, graphic novels, comics, serious fiction, thriller, romance, crime, movie based and my most recent discovery books based on conspiracies. You have no idea how many there are out there! One of the best, after Da Vinci's Code, is Steve Barry's Alexandria Link. There are books on Christianity conspiracies, conspiracies about The Knights of Templar, the Holy Grail, Atlantis [which I believe in by the way], the Greek gods, the Romans, the Aztecs, the Celts, the Druids and my personal fave, the history of Greece vs Rome.
And the best part is that I have books on ALL of those!! Books is the one thing I spare no expense on. The same goes with my parents. We're all, with the exception of my weirdo bro, bookworms in this house but I'm the biggest indulger.
Sigh, books...reminds me that I'm reading Change of Heart. I'm trying to make the book last as long as possible 'cos if I finish that I've got nothing. Nada. Zip. Zilch.
I'm really excited about Breaking Dawn that's coming out in August but other than that there are no exciting book that'll make their way into Singapore any time soon.
Sigh, House is starting soon. So I better go. Its prob repeats so I'll just end up channel surfing...
Cheers!
ps. I now have 16 stories to my pen name! My aim is at least 10 before school!
