My new obsession is Julia Garwood. Her books are wicked!! I'm just super happy that the library has most of her books. I just finished reading Heartbreaker which is AMAZING!! It was her first book about the Buchanan siblings. I only tore my eyes away from it when I was shopping with Neerajha and went out for a while with my mom. And when I said I just finished literally. I can't wait to get started on her next book thats sitting in my bag just taunting me.
But I came online to check my mail and I figured might as well update. And and I have yet to give the good news. I think I mentioned some time ago that books in India are freakingly cheap so last night my dad called and Iimmediately gave him Julie Garwood's name andhe's getting metwo books in this trip!! He's going again in two weeks so he said he'll get more then!! I am over the moon with joy!!
I haven't been this riveted to a book in ages!! I kinda miss it. Having no care in the world except tofind out who the killer/stalker/psycho is and of course waiting in anticipation for the hero and heroine get together. I am sap for these books. I esp love it if main guy is someone in the law enforcement. Police, lawyer and definately FBI. I dunno why...they just seem so much better than your average salesman or doctor or something.
And and even more good news, my one-shot stories are even bigger hits than my completed novel length stories!! This so so so so so rocks!!!! My day cannot get any better!Esp since the day end is roughly 2 hours...
Anyways tomorrow I'm meeting Farhana for breakfast and then we'll be heading out to the town and doing whatever. I'm planning on using my $50 taka voucher for something frivolous. I wonder if Taka sells DVDs? If they have books, which I'm pretty sure they don't, I swear I'll start jumping up and down in the store...
The only bad thing about reading such amazing books one after another is that once you've gone through them all you always end up with a dry spell. No good books, nothing new by good authors and that jsut takes away all the fun from reading. I actually shrieked and jumped when I saw my two books in the library today. Murder List by Julie Garwood and Furthur Observations of Lady Whistledown by Julia Quinn.
So I'm gonna log off now and get to them...
Nite all and
Cheers!!
