Man my feet are aching like mad...Just got home from Orchard. Met Farhana at LJS, SP for breakfast at 9.45. Was really filling man...we both couldn't finish it. After that we went to Aljunid 'cos she needed to go to the Bank to do some stuff. THEN we headed to Orchard. After a little walking we headed into Taka and were...um...intimidated by all the major brand names there. Chanel, Gucci, Prada, Stella Mcartney and so on...Finally after walking a bit we found the Taka Department store. And outside it there was a sale going on and Farhana managed to checkon name of her birthday list.

After that we went into the department store itself and 'cos I had my voucher and I wanted to get a nice bag. Walked around a bit and found an amazing Kappa bag that only cost $59.90 and with my $50 voucher I paid nothingmore than 10bucks. So worth it.

Then after that we headed for Wheelock place, Borders 'cos I wanted to seethe books and I ended up buying one, Mercy by you guessed it,Julie Garwood. Anyways, then we wanted to go to BKs for the Sundae Pie but they were sold out so we went next door to Starbucks for cheesecake!!!

Farhana's Oreo Cheesecake...But in the end she decided that she wanted to eat the Oreo instead of the cheesecake part more so once she was done the results was this:

That's cheese-mush...nice huh?

And my White Chocolate Mocha Frap with coffee...It's seriously good. Very refreshing, esp on a hot day and friends, today was with out a doubt really really hot.

After that we took the train to Somerset to go to the arcade. Sadly while there were a few nice games there most of them,Time Crisis 2 included, were either not on, broken or under repairs. Curse the people who had to spoil the nice machines. But air hockey was available so we played two rounds, after she made me promise not be violent, and she kicked my butt noth times. Argh...Violence is the key to winning these games, take the violence away and your winning streak is down the drain...

So after my butt was kicked enough we left and went to John Little's 'cos there was some sale going on and I bought myself a pair of sunglasses!!Yay...they are really really nice and comfy. Of course when I wear them I can't read or anything but they are much needed for the long trip to Woodlands every single day.

They aren't black just a quite dark brown ones plus they look like Chanel rip offs. And after that all we both wanted to do was togo home and sleep. Unfortunately the coffee from my drink just kicked in and I am in no condition to sleep,

Which reminds me, you wanna know howmy mom got me out of bed today? She used the books my dad bought for me to lead me away from my comfy pillows and comforter and said I wouldn't get them until I was completely up. That's just plain mean!!

So yeah books, um...I now own The Secret and The Lion's lady by Julie Garwood. Those are her period romance/mystery books. Never actually read one before butcan't wait to. I'm half way through Murder List which I thought wasn't part of the Buchanan siblings series but turns out it is. This one isabout Alec. My fave thus far is a tie between Heartbreaker [Nick] and Shadow Dance[Jordan].

So I've got lsot of reading to do over this weekend and part of next week...Yay!!

Cheers!
