I think I've never spent more time shopping then I did today. My mom, cousin and I went to Cathay to catch The Happening. I was kinda unsure about it 'cos the director's last couple of movies were major flops.
But the movie was really good! That was lots of blood and very detailed grusome death scenes. Plus the storyline was surprisingly realistic. I mean what happened in the movie and can very well happen in reality long long long long after we're dead. Plus Mark Wahlberg is an amazing actor and he was brilliant in the movie. However, I could not stand Zooey Deschanel she looked damn creepy. Nothing like her sister who I totally prefer.
But all in all it was a really good movie. After the movie we went to Taka to check out the sales. I lsot track of how many shops we entered in Taka. Then we went over to Atria and I didn't even dare enter the Charles and Keith shop. That's how massively packed it was. I just hung around outside. Keeping my distace from the crazy women who wanted 6 inch heels.
Then we had dinner at Toast Box and me being stupid ordered the Mee Siam which was nice....and spicy. I love spice food and I don't think I can ever live without it. But, about 3 years ago when I was in Malacca I practically drank this dish called Devil's Chicken and doing that tore my stomach lining. So now I can't take spicy foods like Mee Siam. Home cooking is fine for some weird reason.
I really excersied a whole lot of self control today because I did not buy a thing. Even though I saw very tempting stuff at the KAPPA and NIKE and ADIDDAS sales I resisted. Mainly 'cos my mom was there and I had to show her that I wasn't a very spendtrift person. Basically I lied through my teeth. ;)
Well thats it for today. Tomorrow's father's day. Can't wait to give my Dad his gift and take him out of dinner!
Cheers!
Grizzlies taste awesome. Take that mountain lion eating stupid shiny volvo owner! ;) Don't worry Nan, not insulting your dude.
