What did I do today...Woke up really late. At 12! It was sooooo nice!! Went to Parkway in the afternoon with my mom. We got my dad his Father's Day gift. An IPod Nano, the purple one. Freaking cheap man. And we're taking him out to Sofra's for dinner on Sunday.
Then we window shopped a bit. I got a couple of Giodarno tops and earrings and a couple of items from Robert Piano/Kawai Music School. One of the things I got actually cost $68 but because the lady remembered me as a student I got a dsicount and that thing was only $30!! Yay for her excellent memory!!
Went into Borders but nothing really caught my eye. I miss the days when everytime I walked out of Borders I had a bag in my hand. Then we crossed over and went to the second hand bookshop but the guy said he didn't have the paperback copy of Lady Killer!! Argh...I've been dying for that book for ages but everywhere I go it's only available in hardcover!!!
Then went to the hawker centre for a drink, bought Auntie Anne's home for tea and hunted for the car in the over crowded car park. Came home, put our stuff away and went over to Sonam's house. My mom wanted to visit her mom and I just tagged along.
Spent like an hour and a half there talking to them about nothing but Twilight and all the fun times we had with......believe it or not, Mary Kate and Ashley books and movies. Esp the books. The three of us were hardcore fans. More so me, I used to have every single Two of a Kind, Olsen and Olsen Mysteries, So Little Time and Sweet Sixteen book. hahahaha...Then I donated it all after I outgrew them.
They were supposed to come over and rewatch Passport to Paris but 1 problems arose. 1. they weren't allowed and 2. I couldn't find and movie. Prob cos I left it Msia..sigh...I spent most of the night watching Two of a Kind episodes, Winning London and Our Lips are Sealed. I need to get the whole MK and A thing outta my system!!
Gonna talk to Nan now!!
