Phelps my hero...

It has been done. Michael Phelps has done what no other man/woman has been able to do. 8 swimming Olympic Golds. Can you say "Holy Shit!". I saw the final event ths morning. It was teh 4 x 100 Medley Relay. Amazing. USA was lagging with the first two swimmers for the backstroke and breaststroke. But when Phelps did the Butterfly...it was jaw dropping. Seroiusly, he didn't take over the leas until like the last 25-15 meteres. And then the freestyle sealed the deal for them.

Forget Usain Bolt. Nobody is going over shawdow Phelps in any events this Oylmpics. He is the first person in the history of the modern Olympics to get 8 golds! They no one will ever be able to top that.

Ok, so moving away from the Olympics. Yesterday was a fun day. Family day if you will. Went to Parkway in the morning with my mom, dad and aunty to basically run some errands. Errands that included getting knee high boots from Charles and Keith. Unfortunately, when we went to C and K [not to be confused with CK], they said only the store at Great World City carried the boots we wanted =(.

Yeah, so other than the boots being a disappointment. things were great. I made my appointent highlight my hair for tomorrow. Only $100!! El Cheapo...for Jean Yip that is. Mainly 'cos I'm using my mom's discount.

There was also talk about getting me a ATM card but I stuck to what I said before, NO. I really don't think I can be trusted with. I will use up all the money before you can say a word. Seriously. The only reason I don't walk out with a bag from almost every shop I go into is the lack of cash. Thank God.

Went to Safra of dinner. Initially we wanted to go to NUSS Club for the open roof barbeque but turns out they werefully booked so we changed venue. But it was still nice.I haven't been to Shore Restuarent since I was a kid. Love the place. Imagine having dinner with a nice breeze, sitting my the ocean, hearng the waves roll in and [this is the best part] a bright full moon hanging over head. Breath taking.

Of course the conversation was kinda morbid. We were talking about the next tsunami. -.- I know. But this is cool actually, to hear about not to experience. See, if the next underwater earthquake takes place at this place, and its expected that it will, the tsunami will come towards teh Straits. The Straits of Malacca that is. Where along with Malysia we are. And since the place is more narrow the wave will not only be higher but it will be more powerful.

But who knows when that is. So for now lets think happy things like Luke says, "unicorns and rainbows."

Haha...Gilmore Girls season 1 is hilarious man!! And my mom yelled at me to give the tv a rest at the wrong time!!! Just when Rachel came back and Lorelai is being set up with this weirdo by her parents and I think this is the one where Dean tell Rory that he loves her and she doesn't say it back. That means the one where Tristan kisses her is soon. I hope!!! As much of an as Tristan is I can't help but like looking at him. It's Chad Michael Murray for crying out loud!!!! Who wouldn't like to look at him!! =)
