I wouldn’t say today was a really good day but there were parts of it that were really really good!

Thank god the morning was one of them. Met country boy and country girl for Starbucks in the morning. I of course ordered my usual Java Chip with 2 extra shots. We were relaxing there and it would have been so nice to have just stayed there and not gone to class. But we all couldn’t skip. Damn.

Unfortunately the 2 extra shots in my coffee did nothing to wake me. Looks like watching Mary Poppins until 1.30 am was not a good idea. Maths was totally boring and I don’t think I learnt a thing from the lesson. I am just so happy I was blessed with the talent to bluff my way through things. I think the really thought I got today’s lesson.

Lunch break, watched High School Musical. The Original. Everyone got totally into the movie and the songs and stuff. It was so fun. I hope the third movie won’t be a letdown. Then after the movie everyone rushed to complete their presentations and Ain came in with the cake to celebrate Haz’s advanced birthday! Took a bunch of class photos and then... –insert drum roll -

I took the cream part of the cake and smashed it on Haz’s face!! Yay me!!! That’s when the “War” started. After Haz I hit Edwin, Zakiah, Dine, Hui Jing, Hadi and Haz again. Haz and I tried to hit Edwin again, we literally chased him around the whole level before giving up. I think it was stress reliever that everyone really needed.

Third meeting was a total snore. It was hard to msn ‘cos the faci was sitting right behind me. But I managed to, wouldn’t have survived if I couldn’t.

Sonia and I left after our presentation. Met Robert, who gave me a reason to leave class, and went with him to CWP to get a hamster cage for his new rodent that he’s named...how the heck do you spell it??!!! Snuffles is the short form. And of course the one he bought was really nice, because I picked it ;)

Oh which reminds me, thanks to Robert and Sonia, I am now a country music fan. It was Brad Paisley’s Whiskey Lullaby that converted me. I just checked my travelling playlist on my mp3 and I swear I have only 5 non country songs. 5 out 50 songs. Even I’m surprised.

And that reminds me of something else, apparently Hamen and Prashant are Sonia’s cousins! It’s super small world! My 2 childhood best buddies are new friend’s cousins. But I haven’t seen them in like a year. The last time was the bbq at Changi Sailing Club.

The official time of departure for tomorrow has been released: 5.15 am. Oh joy. I have to wake up earlier than normal on a Saturday. Whoopdedoo...
