Most people would think that my day was dull but I beg to differ. How often does one get the chance to spend the whole doing what she loves? Reading. That’s what I spent the entire day doing. Went to MPNLB around 10+ in the morning and sat there and read till like 2+ pm.

I did take a break and log on to the net for a bit. Hehe, even I can’t stay away from the net for hours at a go when I know it’s just a couple of keystrokes away. That and I carried my laptop with me.

After two I made my way to Parkway. Nostalgia hit me. I miss the days when I used to roam Parkway almost every day. It did bring some bad memories because I used to do it a lot with a certain person who I am no longer in contact with, but also good memories because another person I used to roam with was Neerie. I miss the days when she still lived in Marine Parade.

Archie and gang kept me company during at Pastamania. Despite several other suggestions from Ace, I ended up there. Then I made my way to my all time fave shop, Borders. And I found 2 perfect books! I am so happy I finally have something new to read. A book by Jennifer Cruise that I’ve never seen before and I have already finished as of 4 hours ago, and another book that seems very interesting after the first chapter.

On top of that, my mom found my Shadow Dance which I apparently left in Malaysia! WOOHOO! I’m gonna be ending the year with good books, there’s a lot of comfort in that.

Tomorrow, there’s this thingy that I have to attend with my family at an Uncle’s house. My one and only saving point is that both Sonam and Poonam will be there. Yay! I mean my brother’s good company every now and then but my friends are way better! Plus plus plus, I’m really hoping Uncle Venkat will make Priyanka come too. God, it’s been years since I’ve seen her! I think the last time was when she slept over here and that was a good four years ago.

Next week is really looking up for me.

Monday – Logan is reunited with Ace! And then dinner at night, continuation of tomorrow’s ceremony thingy.

Tuesday – Um...nothing yet. Anybody wanna fill in this blank?????????/

Wednesday – aka New Year’s Eve. Help my mom, mix non alcoholic drinks, make dessert, actually its HELP make dessert, collect food from caterer and PARTY TIME!

Thursday – First day of 2009, I hope we continue our tradition of going to Changi Sailing Club. It’s sad that Kayjal won’t be with us this year but it’s better than nothing right!! She’ll be in Singapore in 7 days!!!

Yay for me...I’m looking forward to 2009. I have no idea what resolutions to make seeing as how usually by the end of the year I forget them. But I’m thinking one of them has to be

STOP SKIPPING SCHOOL SO OFTEN!
