It’s been a up and down day! Well...it was up and down in a matter of hours actually.
Up: I got to see Sonia, we shopped, my party became officially on, we planned, we shopped some more, drank a little and I got myself a pair of wonderful boots!
Down: I didn’t get my present, I couldn’t watch My Bloody Valentine in 3D because I am ONE FREAKING month away from being 18 and...umm...that’s it!!
Ookay more ups and downs...but hey, the downs got us pretty depressed for a while there!!
So like I said, I met Sonia today at Orchard and I’m happy to report neither of us were late! We headed to Far East where we had lunch at Pasta Mania and planned, planned, planned and got hyper and loads excited.
Then we went into Far East where we planned on shopping but because I didn’t see anything I liked and her shopped was closed we left and decided to go down to The Cathay to catch My Bloody Valentine in 3D. So with Ferror Roche, however you spell it, ice cream in hand we went off.
The ice cream was disgusting by the way. –shudders-
On the walk there we managed to all the things we were good at, bitch about people, talk about hot guys, make fun of people and just spout utter nonsense. All I can remember, well mostly I remember laughing a lot!
Then at Cathay we couldn’t watch the movie because the person at the counters were being irritating and annoying and just because I am not yet 18 I couldn’t watch it! For crying out loud it’s a SLASHER movies not a movies where they have sex on screen, like Sex in the City. And I was so looking forward to watching people die.
So we decided to go to Plaza Sing and shop. Nono...before that we decided to make ourselves undepressed at Ben and Jerrys!! Which I must say worked very well...just look at our cure! –looks down-
Who wouldn’t be cured by that?!
And oh my god, the funniest thing happened at Plaza Sing. We were standing outside Dorothy Perkins finishing up the bottle of Apple Cider and this guy comes up to Sonia and this happens :
Guy : Hi I’m Rohit, what’s your name?
Sonia : Um, Hi I’m Sonia.
Rohit : Oh okay, Hi. I just thought you looked interesting and was wondering if you wanted to go out with me? Or maybe give me your number?
Sonia: Umm...no thanks.
Ok...so it’s sounds weird writing it down but if you had been there you’d have laughed as I did!! After the guy went off I laughed so hard that I spilt cider on my foot and slipper!!! Sonia’s expressions had me laughing non stop!!!
Anyways...after that we browsed around the shops blah blah and we ended up in Bata and there were these amazing pair of brown boots! And the sales girl said they came in my size!!! But sold out! : ( BUT they had the black ones in my size~!!!!!! I all but danced in the shop!!!!!! I love my new shoes!!
Well...that was my amazing Friday. What’s more is that my dad booked the chalet for my birthday party!! For those people who received the email/msn/sms/or all please RSVP okay!! The only person more excited than me is Sonia! Who happens to be my official party planner!!
