Race To Witch Mountain:
Well, I can say that on a O.W.L.S standard grading this movie certainly Exceeds Expectations! It’s not outstanding but a lot better than I expected when I went to watch it. I like Dwayne Johnson. He’s a funny guy and one of those rare other career turned actors who can actually act.
But it is one of those movies that makes all those US government conspiracies and cover ups look more real. OK, so maybe there aren’t any aliens who are planning to take over planet Earth at the moment BUT c’mon there’s no way the government is honest about anything and everything!
If you actually take the time to go read books on conspiracies you’ll see exactly how many cover ups the US government has had! Yeah, most of them are theoretical and hardly any proof but there is still that little evidence.
Kennedy’s Assassination – The official story states this was the deed of lone gunman Lee Harvey Oswald, who shot from the rear. “No conspiracy, foreign or domestic.” One reasonable doubt can shatter the official view. However:
“Nearly 100 persons believed that the shots … came from the knoll,” Mark Lane reports. Dr. Kemp Clark, Chief of Neurosurgery, Parkland Hospital, testified Kennedy’s throat bullet wound was from the front.
Ok so this is just one example but I couldn’t be bothered to type out more.
Bah...I doubt anyone cares anyway. Most people I know couldn’t give a flying fart about books and reading let alone know what a conspiracy theory is. No offense to anyone!
