OK! My submission for the Poly Forum is finally done so I am no longer stressed and free to blog! Woo! It’s been a rollercoaster weekend.

Yesterday...I was supposed to meet Sonia for dinner and drinks at Vivo. But she got sick! Poor her... herbal tea was apparently being shoved down her throat.

Seeing has how I am so used to people backing out on their plans with me I had a backup plan. My cousin was flying from KL to Darwin with a 5 hour stop over here in Singapore. So I jetted off to Changi Airport to meet him! It’s been ages since I saw him and jeeez he looks different! Had dinner at secret recipe and it was amazing as usual.

Sigh, I had half a mind to knock him out and take his ticket and go to Australia in his place and go knock some sense into my asshole of a best friend. But sadly since I couldn’t do that I settled for waving to my cousin bye from behind the glass.

Today, met up with a couple of old friends and went for a movie marathon. I was finally able to catch the 2 movies I’ve been DYING to watch. Star Trek and X-Men Origins : Wolverine. 2 amazing movies I tell you! Star Trek was like WOW. I’m not a trekkie but I did watch a couple of episodes when they showed the re-runs of the show.

Chris Pine is an AMAZING Cap. James T. Kirk! Le sigh...he was so adorable and his eyes made me melt! And Ohmygod, Zachery Quinto as Spock! I was like 0.0. I was so used to seeing him as Sylar where his emotions are the root of his attacks and then seeing him as a Vulcan where he’s like the total opposite was such an experience!

After Star Trek there was like ½ an hour for lunch. So ran to Food Junction for a quickie. And then it was back into the cinema for Wolverine. What can I say about this move? I mean yes Hugh Jackman is bloody amazing. And yes they finally told all the non comic fans Wolverine’s history and whatnot. But I don’t know... it didn’t click for me. Gambit was totally downplayed. Forge that they totally had his character WRONG...but his role, after using so much of his shots in the trailers, was like over in a couple of minutes.

But action wise it was an awesome movie! Wolverine vs. Sabertooth moments are amazing I tell you! And the explosions and the BOOMS and the BANGS and I just realized how much like a guy i sound. But who cares! It was amazing!

After the movie shopped about for a while and came home. And then left almost ASAP to get me my new shoes. Cos my lovely Reeboks tore! So sad! But My dad got me awesome new Adidas ones! I love them! Totally gonna rock them tomorrow!

Then tonight I was finally able to catch up one Gossip Girl and One Tree Hill. Oh and I swear OTH was created to make me cry! Peyton and Luke finally tied the knot! And then BOOM she’s lying on their bedroom floor bleeding! WTF LAA...STUPID MARK SCHWAN! I WOULD LOVE TO KILL HIM!

Thank god the next episode is TOMORROW. So I can watch it by Tuesday or Wednesday with luck. =)

So that’s a LONG update that I bet no one is gonna read. BLEH. Don’t care!
