OK...I’m done with my ranting. This post shall contain no vulgarities whatsoever.

First off...HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY. Are you like me? Didn’t get anything for your mom? LOL. It’s not my fault that nothing caught her eye when we went shopping yesterday. Le sighs.

Anyways, today was majorly fun. I woke up to the smells of delicious pasta sauces cooking, banana bread and Coffee Apple Cake baking in the oven. Amazing I tell you. The three dads were hard at work! They wouldn’t let my mom into the kitchen at all!

Around 12.30 we went over to Kayjal’s house, ‘cos that’s where the “gathering” was. And omg, the food was awesome la. I mean I expected no less ‘cos my dad did most of the cooking. But still..WOW. We all ate till we were stuffed! Sonam swore she was going to puke. Of course, as usual she took the longest to eat her food.

After eating we went up to Kayjal’s room and we were just chatting and watching Duplicate, this super old SRK movie. He is an amazing actor...and hilarious! Then went back downstairs and found out that my parents had abandoned me there. They just left without saying anything! Hmph...but I’m used to it. They do this all the time! Haha... We stayed there until like 5? Then Sonam, Kayjal and I decided to go check out the Courts Sale. So we did.

Went to Tampines and walked around ALOT before we found the damn shuttle bus to bring us there. I had more fun checking out the SLR cameras that I can never buy. And the laptops were like super cheap! Why can’t I be in the market for a laptop?! Nahh...I’m kidding. I love my laptop. More so when it cooperates with me.

I wanted to get my Audio Technica earphones but the queue to pay was too long. And I didn’t feel like waiting. So in the end I didn’t get my ears and Kayjal didn’t get her balls. [LOL. Inside joke]

Came home around 8-ish only to find out there was no dinner! How sad! Now I’m like starving and there’s some idiot frying chicken downstairs and I can get the smell from my room!! Argh...

But all in all it’s been a pretty decent day. I want more potluck gatherings! They’re always fun! And have their touch of drama. XD
